    • Minimum 9 months of verifiable experience towing RVs or trailers 30 feet or longer

  • Yes. All drivers are independent contractors (1099)

  • You will have to provide either your own truck or have access to a truck that someone will sign a power of attorney over to you for your use. It must be equipped with a fifth-wheel hitch.

    • Heavy-duty ¾-ton or 1-ton diesel pickup truck

    • Current Annual DOT Truck Inspection

    • Truck registration rated at 26,000 lbs.

    • 20,000 lb. rated fifth-wheel hitch

    • 10,000 lb. rated receiver hitch with 2" and 2-5/16" solid ball mount

    • 7-pin electrical connector mounted near the fifth-wheel hitch

    • Electric brake controller

    • Deep-cycle marine battery with battery box (DOT required)

    • Breakaway cable attachment

    • Ratchet strap to secure battery box (DOT required)

    • Padlock for trailer coupler

    • 4-way lug wrench

    • Calibrated torque wrench (required)

    • Jack for tire changes

    • Extended towing mirrors

    • Heavy-duty mud flaps covering the tires

    • Emergency reflective triangles and/or flares

    • Mounted, fully charged fire extinguisher

    • 6-foot safety chain

    • Zip ties/cable ties

    • Window tint must comply with DOT regulations (minimum 70% light transmission)

  • We do allow passengers under certain conditions. To ride as a passenger, the individual must be at least 18 years of age and complete a Passenger Authorization Form, which is conveniently available at our terminals. Pets are also permitted, provided they are transported safely and do not interfere with the safe operation of the vehicle.

  • Towaway drivers are paid per mile, with rates varying based on the type of unit being delivered and the distance traveled.

    Drivers receive a pay advance before the trip begins and the remaining balance upon delivery.

    Payments are loaded to your EFS Mastercard. This card will also give you access to extraordinary fuel discounts, 50-70 cents per gallon diesel fuel discount average when you purchase at one of the participating stations.

    If delivery paperwork is submitted by 2:30 PM EST, payment is typically processed the same day. Otherwise, payment will be issued the next business day.
